Breathwork and Root Chakra Meditation

Happy Monday Beloved!

I hope you had a great weekend and are starting your new week with great intention. I find that when I set my intentions for the week, I'm preparing myself for a productive and energetic week. I'm opening myself up for new opportunities.

This Thursday July 16th, I will begin a 7-part series on the Chakra system. Each week for the next seven weeks, I will focus on one of the chakras and dive a little deeper to help you balance and be aware of how your chakras are currently impacting your beautiful, emotional body. This week I will focus on the Root Chakra:

  1. What is the Root Chakra?

  2. Location in the emotional body

  3. How it affects your emotional body

  4. How to begin healing the Root

  5. How to balance the Root Chakra

  6. What foods to eat to feel grounded

  7. Meditations

  8. Affirmations

Here are a couple of affirmations to get you started. Take a couple of deep breaths and repeat the affirmations with the knowing that you are what you say you are.

  • "I am Safe"

  • "I am Grounded"

  • "I nurture myself and take care of my well-being"

  • "I believe in me"


I'm excited to be teaching and guiding you in a mediation focused on the Root Chakra. How to prep for this session:

First find a space in your home that will allow you to feel comfortable and at ease. I recommend the following items to elevate your experience;

  • An open heart

    • To receive and send gratitude out into the world.

  • Water

    • Water is life and flow

  • Candle

    • At the end we set an intention & blow the candle

  • Blanket

    • As you become relaxed the temperature in your body drops

  • Headphones

    • Reduce interruptions and noise

  • Journal

    • Great way to capture your experience
