Fall Equinox Meditation

The Fall Equinox is upon us this Thursday, Sept 22!

Fall equinox is one of two moments in the year when the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are of equal length. It’s also when one of the two points in the sky where the ecliptic (the Sun's annual pathway) and the celestial equators intersect. Happy Fall Equinox Beloved!

Wow… Can you believe yet another week is upon us? Perfect time for setting new intentions. What do you want this week to be for you? How do you feel when you think of this week's intentions? It's so interesting that a thought (intention) becomes a form, which then is manifested in the physical realm. Take a moment to breathe, center yourself and set the intentions for your week. This week, Thursday, September 23rd at 8pm, I'll be discussing the power of intentions. How do our thoughts control our lives? How responsible are we for what is being manifested in our lives? There is power in our thoughts thus power in our intentions. I'm excited to be discussing this topic with along with a guided meditation and breath work.

How to activate the power of intention: Dr Wayne Dyer indicates that the process takes place in four stages.

1. Discipline – Building strong habits and realign with your body. Do the things you know you should do (i.e. exercise, eat well etc). Live with integrity to your ideal self!


2. Wisdom – Combining wisdom with discipline as you harmonize your mind
(thoughts/intellect) and feelings with the work of your body.


3. Love – Loving what you do and doing what you love.


4. Surrender – Releasing yourself into the place of intention where your body and mind are no longer running the show.

To prep for this session, first find a space in your home that will allow you to feel comfortable and at ease. I recommend the following items to elevate your experience:

  • An Open Heart

    • To receive and send gratitude out into the world

  • Water

    • Water is life and flow

  • Candle

    • At the end we set an intention & blow the candle

  • Blanket

    • As you become relaxed the temperature in your body drops

  • Headphones

    • Reduce interruptions and noise

  • Journal

    • Great way to capture your experience
